The Communications and Fundraising Committee (CFC)
The Communications and Fundraising Committee (CFC) provides direction on the Communication and Fundraising Strategy, ensuring that it supports the Breast Cancer Trials Strategic Plan and the ambition of the organisation.
The CFC is responsible for:
- Ensuring the Communication and Fundraising Strategy supports the short and long-term strategic objectives, mission, and vision of the Group
- Providing guidance, advice and critical oversight to the Communication and Fundraising strategy and monitor implementation and results against appropriate and measurable targets
- Providing a supportive and expertise-led environment for fundraising and communication ideas and opportunities to be discussed and explored
- Ensuring there is ongoing organisational, CFC and board level education on fundraising and communications as they relate to clinical trial leadership, clinical trials and building a vibrant breast cancer community within our target audiences
- Using their networks within Australia and New Zealand to identify and engage potential new and existing supporters and identify communication or fundraising opportunities
